First issue of Explore Selangor 102e mandarin edition magazine, featuring Selangor as one of the most diverse tourism destination in Malaysia. Selangor has more, in this very first issue, the magazine cover story's is the Culture festival, Thaipusam, a Hindu festival celebrated mostly by the Tamil community on the full moon in the Tamil month of Thai (January/February).

It also tells the history of Klang town & the signature food of Klang, Bak Kut Teh. BKT in short refers to herbal based pork soup which is very popular among the Chinese communities in the region.

Sunset at Bagan Lalang, Sepang, Selangor with a Kelong fishing house in the background. Kelong is a traditional way of fishing method, I think I studied it in Geography subject during high school but don't really understand how it functions.
It was a media trip organised by a resort nearby, anyway enjoying sunset on a fishing boat was great!

I like Ayana Hotel @ Bali simply it has so many swimming pools to offer. The infinity pool sea water swimming pool is my favorite!

Anyway, for me it is the sensation of capturing sunset while swimming was great feeling!

BALI -- TANDEG VILLA 巴里島私人度假別墅

巴里島，一個宜人的世外桃源，對於大多數的人們來說，她確實是個天堂，雖然巴里島的爆炸事件發生了一年 多，還有不少人，已經重返這個美麗的島嶼。

當中，所認識的一對在香港從事寫作/攝影專業的美國夫婦，John以及Anna，就在爆炸案發生之後的一個月，來到了巴厘島度假。後來發覺巴里島，所給予他們的並非只是，像旅遊手冊中所說般單純的度假天 堂，其實是個適合長期定居的環境，巴里島所能夠給予的遠比遊客，到這里消費式的沙灘，美食以及文化來得多。於是他們就燃起了要在這里定居的念頭，當時他們 已經在香港的南丫島定居了8年。

雖然巴里島酒店林立，不過還是有很多來自全球各地的富商，在巴里島建造出一棟棟的私人別墅，不但建材及格 局講究，也融入了當地的熱帶風情及文化和藝術的精神，這一棟棟的別墅也就是Private Villa私人別墅。除了富商其中也有不少的國內外藝術家以及作家，選擇在 巴里島生活。Villa的建築形式以及設計的特色，也因此而具備非常濃厚的藝術氣質，很容易就看到 很多結合了巴里文化以及前衛藝術的villa。

約翰和安娜，於是就在這島嶼，前後尋覓了超過30個villas，最後，在一個離開Kuta鎮 約20分鐘路程，距離海邊也不遠的地方，看上了在Tandeg小鎮的一個小VILLA。

這個VILLA的前一個主人是英國人，他其實是個非常精明的外國VILLA投資人， 他在98年金融風暴發生之後，以5千美元的 代價，買進了這塊小於1英畝的土地，在上面興建了非常簡單的小villa，之後再以不便宜的價格出租小villa。在把地皮脫售給約翰之前， 已經賺取了比成本高出好幾倍的回酬。

約翰於是就決定買下這片土地，同時也定下了在這里生活，同時經營villa出租管理的計劃。他們總共花了3個月的時間，重建在這片土地上的兩間小villa。其中一家作為他們 居住的地方以及工作室。 而我則是第一個 住入Tandeg Villa的遊客，這里的裝潢布置，都巧合符合我的喜好，讓我能夠更快的放松心情，融入他們當地人的生活。開放式的設計，把層層疊疊綠澄 澄的梯田都溶合為villa的一體，花園，游泳池就和客廳廚房溶合在一起，感覺上跟大自然非常的貼 近。

友人以及女佣還聯手下廚，邀請John以及Anna到里用餐，他們 非常興奮，因為他們因為太過于忙碌為villa進行裝修了，還沒有機會在這里坐下來享受品嘗這小villa的特色。

其實John以及Anna還沒有到過距離Tandeg Villa約20分鐘，著名的海神廟Tanah Lot Temple。這個海廟建築在一塊巨石上，四周環繞著海，在巨石下的毒海蛇據說是守護神廟免受鬼怪及入侵者的侵 犯。在著的裙礁岩歷經長期海蝕作用，形成奇特的海岸地形，在夕陽的輝映下，更令人流忘返！

下次，一定要帶John以及Anna到這里！雖然來到巴里島已經將近一年，他們幾乎把所有的 精力都投注在Tandeg Villa之上，還沒有時間成為這里的遊客，四處旅遊。他們向我表示， 他們幾乎已經把他們所有的金錢都投資在Tandeg Villa上，因為他們希望把這里當成一個 家，一個適合孩子成長的環境。當中，最令John感到驕傲的投資，就是在villa裝置了WIFI無線寬頻上網的設施。John經常帶者i-book在villa中，走來走去，對一個freelance 專業攝影師來說，這其實是非 常值得的投資。

而我呢？雖然在這里只渡過了短短4天里，不過心情和感覺非常的好，沒有住在5星級大酒店的那種拘謹以及約束。熱情的巴里島民以及豐富的文化藝術，讓我同時也覺得巴里島其實並不屬于那些純脆來這里消費的遊 客，這里其實是個非常適合生活的小島，所以有機會一定要到Bali蓋一棟小villa。
